[RC] Trail horse confirmed dead, to be left in 'final resting place' - Karen Lynd

I do not know Nicole, but my heart goes out to her.  I cannot imagine how she must be feeling.  I am so sorry to hear about the tragic loss of her wonderful partner.

My deepest sympathy to Nicole and her horse Rebel.  Is this the horse, Rebel Fire Bask, who won BC and Team Gold in the 2005 North American Endurance Championship at Fair Hill International?  There is a beautiful picture of Rebel Fire Bask and Nicole (I assume that is her pictured with him) at http://www.endurance.net/international/2005naec/.  I hope they have located Rebel, and that he is not suffering and did not suffer.
