yes, it's public (see the usef.org site). I think one is appointed to the committee (through the usef executive committee?) but I'm not sure and there is some association with the AERC International committee (maybe??).

There are three committees within the USEF which deal with endurance:

* Endurance Technical Committee
* High Performance Endurance Committee
* High Performance Endurance Eligible Athletes Committee

I don't know where the other two committees stand on this issue, but their input should also be considered by the USEF executive committee and should be solicited.

How does one get on that committee?
