RE: [RC] tripping horse - Sharon Levasseur

I know there can be a lot of causes for that... I'm just specifically wondering
how heel pain (in the front feet I assume, since that's more common than heel
pain in the hind feet) can cause the hind legs to fold.

There are a lot of things that can cause "folding" in the rear.  Hock pain,
stifle pain, long toes, heel pain, sore back, interference (probably the
most common).  It's simplistic to say it's because of heel pain or long
heels.
