Its funny, my horse Casino trips a LOT on flat easy trails but if you take him on a technical mountain trail he becomes part goat and you won't see a single stumble out of him. I would rather have a tripper than a 180 horse hehe. I don't know how your horse is trimmed now but I had the farrier take back Casino's toes on the front and round them more and now I hardly see a trip.

*Neither!  I greatly dislike tripping horses; will move them on to "flatter" terrain.....being surefooted and not falling down is my number one criteria for what I want in a horse.
