In theory the cam-lock buckles seem like a great ideal. However, I can't put them anyplace where they don't bug my leg. I ended up putting one inch English girths on the OF I was using. Oh well - another good ideal that didn't work out.

Go ahead and get your western fenders, but switch to the OF type cam lock buckles on 2" biothane leathers. There are no holes, which drives some people crazy because it can be harder to be sure they're even. I keep a tape measure in my tack box.
