[RC] OD Report from Mary Coleman - RISTREE

Mary asked me to post this for her.  You can reach her at caf@xxxxxxxxxxxx:

Old Dominion the Weather was not an Issue

This may have been the coolest Old D ever but I still left Hawk home and went to help with the ride.

Twenty-five started the 100 John Crandall on an Asgard bred horse won around 10:30 p.m. Daryl Downs last years winner was only a few minutes behind. I am not sure how many finished but some here's a list of a few of them not in any order: Jeannie Waldron, Jeannie Devico. Tamara Nute, Fran Williams, Skip Kemerer, all three southerners Jodi and Joni Buttram and Marie Threadgill I am sorry if I missed anyone but I went to bed!

Robert Ribley missed the thrill of climbing Shermans Gap in the dark as his borrowed horse was lame right before that. Hopefully Robert will come back and try again I even know where there's a good Morgan he can borrow.

Nine out of twelve finished the 75 with Sue Greenall winning. Forty-five out of sixty-five finished the 25 with Mary Murphy the winner. Thirty-six out of forty-eight completed the LD. I do have the list of finishers on these three rides but email me privately if you want to know.

This ride takes an enormous amount of work and effort it did appear there was plenty of help everywhere. Those who rode hopefully appreciated all that where behind the scenes making sue your ride was enjoyable and will come back.
