[RC] Move almost done - Roger RittenhouseUpdate and FYI - for those who keep track of changesWe are about finished with the move. Household is complete - but house is still a mess, not all unpacked. Business, sort of up an running, all crammed into a small room half the size of the old separate building. Stuff still not all unpacked. A few more trailer loads still in the barn at the old place. Have no place to store it all yet. Mostly outside junk and barn stuff. Waiting on the metal carport building Horse - all 5 are here. No barn, a small shed for the 3 old ones About 2 ac 'pasture' - they do not like the hay I bought. Omni and Dixie live 'in the woods' on about 2 ac ? makes them tough. They LOVE the local hay.. since they do not have any real grass yet..the weeds are gone We hope to open the power line this week and fence that in - more weeds until I mow it a few more times Barn - well sort of a barn, we had problems with builders, so we are doing a large heavy duty carport. Will put wood sides on it for now. It will have to do. The 'natural' water is only running when it rains..SO for the first time in 30 years of owning horses we have to use stock tanks, plus we will have to feed hay all year. We will take out a good number of trees to make a pasture, but it will be a few years before we get grass. The good part - we are riding more. The trail is about a 2 minute walk then goes north or south, plus a long dirt road. We just get some things done - then stop and take a ride. Did 3 hours today. It was GREAT!
