It is always interesting to see how other countries handle issues. If my country isn't there just now, it well could be in the near future so the more information we all share on what is being done and how it works, the better prepared we can all be to deal with problems that may be coming along.

Thank you very much for letting us know that France has gone to a system that only allows registered horses to participate. I gathered from your post that the registration doesn't have to be with a breed registry... you could do color? Or just Grade? I would think that a Grade Registry wouldn't cost much - nothing like the fees the breed registries charge over here.
