[RC] gaited saddles - PAMELA LANIER

Rode my short backed arab the other day in a friends center fired rigged
fabtron gaited endurance saddle...had been previously riding in a wintec
ap with the medium wide gullet. Good wither clearance, nice shoulder
movement, nice sweat pattern and no sore back. I was amazed at what it
did for my seat...have had a couple of flying dismounts due to change of
direction with the wintec(horses change of direction rider stayed on the
same course)
needless to say i felt much more secure...ridden western since youth and
changed to english 4 years ago when i started endurance.
I was wondering if anyone had any comments good or bad to make about the
Fabtron gaited endurance saddle...
Rode in my Arabian Big Horn western yesterday and had good wither
clearance also but felt tighter in the shoulder area that the gaited
saddle did. Sweat pattern seemed good also ...no dry spots but seemed not
quite as wet in the wither area as did the gaited...Feels like coming back
home to ride western again! No to mention what it has done for my
confidence...
