didn't sound as if he had a chip on his shoulder to me until he didn't feel really welcome.  if i'd come in under that apparent cloud i'd probably have wanted to prove something, too (if he even did).  DANG...i thought it was a good thing that ride stories were shared!!  now ride stories are "bragging"?

just a bit of friendly man to man advice here, if you have a great horse, you might do great things together, and OTHERS will do the talking.   that way, you dont have to.
