They make a mesh especially for the Equi-Pak, I think it is $6/roll. My
farrier has even doubled it a time or two. I worried about putting the tip
of the cartridge into the heel area to squirt in the padding but all we had to
do was apply it to the bottom of the hoof as we would have done without the mesh
and it "floats" around the mesh and forms a good bond. It worked so well
that I had a really difficult time getting it out when I wanted, before removing
the shoes.
