Right now the pastures are about half mud j>>ust from the horses moving around. I'm concerned that by spring we won't have any grass out there to grow... Those of us that have lived in the PNW most of our lives like to keep the horses off the nice grass fields in the winter so as not to damage the grass roots and let weeds we don't want take hold, like buttercups.
