I don't think this was the goal, rather the "fit to continue" criteria whould 
still apply (i.e. you couldn't call it a day b/c of lameness or metabolic 
issues which would otherwise have resulted in a pull under normal ride 
criteria).

Basically, you would have to show for completion of the de-elevated distance??
