[RC] Sad Story - WRSINOSKY

My first impulse when someone mistreats an animal is to bat them upside the head.

Since this generally gets you arrested and the idiot with the knot on his head gets the smug satisfaction of suing you and learns nothing from the whack, I tend to back up a few steps, cool my temper and wait.

Yeh, I wait, guys, for the opportunity to "calmly" discuss the matter with the person...if I think it will help.  Maybe if enough of us calmly talk with the offending person about his/her behavior, it will help...even just a little.

Unfortunately, there isn't much else anyone can do with a numbnuts. We all know people of this caliber. Some people hide behind the phrase "I'm very competitive" to excuse their behavior.  There isn't a whole lot you can do about that...except speak with them on their level and tell them they won't win this way.

I don't like it either and would prefer to smack'em one. But as the man in Cool Hand Luke was so fond of saying, "There are some people you just can't reach".

I just hope this guy is only full of hot air and doesn't act out his words. And I really hope he is not in the SW region, but I'm sure we have a few anyway.

I'm a newbie starting my third year. My accomplishments so far?  The more I learn, the less I know.
