RM has the right to DQ the entered rider if her friend paces her while not being entered herself.  If that happened at our ride, I would pull the entered rider so fast her head would spin.  The other thing likely to happen is if somehow the unentered rider slipped between the cracks, the other entrants will find out about it and likely file a protest.  An unentered pacer in a ride is a big NO-NO.

Well, exactly.  An unentered non-member is difficult to censure by our rules.  Hopefully if her friend is at risk for being pulled, she will respect that--but the pressure from her friend whose completion is at risk is the only pressure we have.

Rule 6K is specifically about the rider, not the pace rider.  The
entered rider does get disqualified.  The rule doesn't actually say
anything about what happens to the pace rider since, I assume, they
aren't entered and thus aren't covered by AERC rules.
