[RC] Pad for treeless saddle - Kathleen A. Crothers

I tired the equipedic pad and didn't have that much success with it. It rubbed
my horses loins and got little hard balls on the felt and was hard to clean
plus he got a sore back with it. I then bought a skito pad with laminated foam
for my sport saddle and no problems with it. In the past I have used a
supracor pad and really liked it but my horse got a little thinner and didn't
have as much fat over the back so had to get a thicker pad with more spine
clearance. I still think the supracor pad is the greatest pad for keeping the
horse's back cool and use it at times when the weather is really hot. Right
now I'm using the skito pad with laminated foam and a dixie midnight pad under
it. So far no sore back but the dm pad slips back a little. I already had the
DM pad when I ordered the skito or I probably would have gotten the dry back
skito pad. Happy Trails, Kathy Crothers
