[RC] Pads for Treeless saddles - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I have been riding in a Freeform for about six months. I started out with the
HAF pad and then purchased an Equipedic to have as a back up. I really like
them both about the same, although I think the HAF pad just looks a little
spiffier under the Freeform! I did purchase the thicker inserts for the HAF
because I wanted to make sure there was plenty of spinal clearance for one of
my horses that has higher withers. Also, the underside of the HAF pad (that
looks like rug gripper material) doesn't absorb sweat, so it just runs off the
horses back. I didn't like that at first, but it is actually nice because the
pad stays cleaner longer and doesn't get heavy with sweat and require any time
to dry out. I think they both work equally well as far as dispersing weight,
and both of my horse's backs are great.
