Had a lovely
ride yesterday and upon our return my horse whacked the front of his rear hoof
on a big rock as he leaped to cross the creek. It was very painful for
him. I can see a small bruising area right at the coronary band where it
meets the hoof. I gave him some Bute and we’re soaking it in warm Epsom Salt water. Any
other suggestions or remedies I might try? Thank you. Nina.
