[RC] Time to clip - rides2far@xxxxxxxx

80 degrees, shaggy horse, time for the first competition of the year. Never
fails, I get out the clippers and remember that they were dull when I put them
away last year. Where do you all get your blades sharpened? I use an Oster A-5
Golden (I think), I've got size 10 & 7 blades. Usually use the 10's in the
spring. (I bought the 7's for fall when I was trying to not set him back for
the winter). I've always mailed them back to the company to be sharpened, but
I've probably waited too late this time. Do you ask a grooming parlor? What?

Also, any tips on clipping would be appreciated. I don't clip the back or girth
area, or top of the hips. I've never greased my clippers. Couldn't figure out
where to put it. I oil a lot during clipping though.

Angie
