[RC] looking for a temp horse to ride in/near MD/USA - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

My horse developed bone spavins and he is not able to compete for the moment,
was wondering if there might be anyone near Maryland that might have an extra
mount that they want competed at a few rides? I did not know about bone spavins
til my horse got them and am learning, aparently it takes a year or two to fuse
and have been talking to vets and other endurance riders to see what options I
have to help the process. While I am riding him and trying to keep him at least
semi conditioned, I am trying to see if I can still find a way to compete till
my horse is able to.

Would also love any advice on bone Spavins and riding, conditioning, competing
horses with this problem. I have heard that once the bone fuses, most horses
can return to competition?

Thanks,

Cat Carter
