Just wait till you get a few years older :-( . No matter how much I ride I have to do a lot of other exercise to not gain weight. I've come to the conclusion that trotting 10 miles - no matter what some article says - doesn't burn many calories. My office at home is three flights of steps from the ground. I must walk those 20 times a day - that doesn't help either in the weight dept. So I find myself having to run along with riding to keep my weight in line.
