[RC] Cranberry the finish line from the manager - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I am truly amazed at what Dodie views as the finish line happenings. . Being
the manager and being there, with the vets, timers and 1/2 of the days help
still there I think I have a pretty good idea of what I was doing. Yes, I
was packing up. I did not wait till the last person crossed the line, but
started packing up the unnecessary things ahead of time, the empty chili pot,
cooker, trash etc. Is a manager expected not to pack up before the last rider
crosses lest she/he gets insulted ? I think in total it took me 3 hourse to
pack at a leisurely pace. Dodie I was 200 feet away from you when you
finished, as was the timer, the vet, the treatment vet and my help. You were
vetted when finished. Did you expect us to be physically at the line when
you crossed ? We cheered for you and you know that.
I think I should of picked up that empty lawn chair before you came in and
wonder if perhaps you would like to complain that the chair was not standing at
attention when you crossed the line. Dodie, relax and learn to enjoy
yourself more. Remember, to finish is to win, you finished and your horse
did just fine.
Patti
