Im ( intramuscular ) injections are
generelly given with needle entering at a 90 degree angle. SQ, ( subcutaneous)
injections are given with needle entering at 45 degree angle and then - yes,
skin generally 'pinched up' a bit - more so with dogs. Can think of rare
instance to give SQ injection to horse.?? Actually have not given any SQ
to horses, though suppose possible.
To note anyone not familair with giving
injections to horse or aninimal - should leave it to theire vet to do; can
