[RC] Using yogurt - rides2far

I'm looking at Josie's Yoplait Lite. In red letters, above the other
ingredients (so maybe you missed it) it says "With active yogurt cultures
including L. acidophilus. Checked my Bi-Lo store brand (what the horses
and I get), and it says "active yogurt cultures" too. Is there a
difference in "active" and "live"? Both these are 2/$1..not health food
store priced.

The Mountain High brand of yogurt found in many grocery stores has
live cultures in it. Probably other health fool/organic type of
yogurt also has cultures, but not Dannon, Yoplait, Costco's, or
other grocery store brands. Check the lable if you want to know for
sure. Better for the humans that eat it to have the live cultures
also.
