[RC] Neighlox as a "buffer" - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

I am not sure if Neighlox would be a "buffer" perhaps in the
sense people are thinking. Neighlox buffers against excess
acid in the stomach. I remember asking a vet (I believe it
was Dr. Barney) if a horse could "overdose" on Neighlox and
he said that no they wouldn't because it is a chemical reaction and it just
brings the pH of the stomack back to what it should
be. Of course if the electrolytes increase acid production then
maybe it would protect the stomach lining.

I don't have time now to look at their website but if no
one else does I will explore further.
