[RC] Finding Wintecs w/out CAIR panels - Karen Casemier

I have a new Arab mare who doesn't really fit into any of my current saddles... both my other horses are very broad, with flat backs, and she is more of a M/MW tree size, and has more angle to her back - built more TB-like. I was thinking about trying the Wintecs on her, as she is still young and I don't want to invest a lot of mooney until she's had some more time under saddle and muscled up. However, I never really liked them for my flatbacked horses, but thought they might work well for her. However, I cannot find the 2000 A/P model anywhere without the CAIR panels - even checked my favorite used tack sites, including e-bay. I really do NOT like these panels, as I've had one of their dressage saddles with the CAIR and I never felt it really sat properly on the horses. Does anyone know where I could order one of these saddles w/out the CAIR panels?

I CAN find the 500 model without CAIR, both new and used. Does anyone know how the balance and shape of this saddle compares to the 2000 model, if I can't find the 2000 w/out CAIR?

FYI, I'm primarily interested in the A/P style saddles right now - she's a forward mover with a lot of spring in her step, and I'm finding it easier to stay out of her way riding a little shorter and more forward than I usually do in my dressage saddle. Also, I'm not interested in the endurance model, as I don't like the stirrup bar placement.

If anyone has one they are interested in selling OR trading (I have a Duett AP model that would work well for a flatter-backed horse), you can e-mail me at kcrazzmatazz at hotmail dot com.
