Re: [RC] How Long is Your Commute? - magnumsmom

Back in CA on the SF Peninsula, my commute was 18 miles
and 75 minutes if we had no extra traffic. At 3am it was
35 minutes. About twice a month it was more like 90 -
120 minutes. The worst night was 2 hr 45 minutes to go
that 18 miles. I lived 1/4 mile from where I boarded Blue
and Magnum. I had 6000 sq feet... of land. :) Board went
up every 2 -3 months like clockwork.

Here in Santa Fe I live 18 miles from work. It takes me 22
minutes if I don't speed... 5 minutes more if I get behind a
troller on the 2 lane road. I have 10 acres of land... er, rock.
I was commuting to Albuquerque for a while... 55 miles and
55 minutes one way (75 mph down I-25). ABQ was a lot
easier than the old bumper to bumper commute in CA.
