==========================================

When I paid a lot of money for my tights with the deer skin
seat I asked how I was supposed to take care of them. They told
me to gentle cycle, or hand wash, warm water but for soap I was
to use "Pert" shampoo as it has a built in conditioner in it.

This is what I use and it works great and I wash my equipedic
pads with it as well, smells purty too

Probably and knock off brand will work, as long as it is the
shampoo and the conditioner... oh and I hang mine to dry. My
tights have a lot of mileage in them and they've held up really
nice.
