I was looking at the rope halters on the uniquelyequine
site.
Beware of the copper metal piece on the end of the
halter crown piece. Quality rope halters have NO metal hardware.
My mare shook her head and this end cut her eye. The
eye was saved but she always had vision problems in that eye.Very expensive
lesson for me.
Please cut this end off if you own halters and wrap
with electrical tape. If looking to buy halters make sure this end is spliced.
The copper is a fast cheap way of making halters. Buyer beware!
