  Don't you hate it when you 'find' something , and think "that's odd, what 
is that, "? then you start feeling all the other horses in the same  spot 
and go  "no body else has this , the old one , the same age one and  the 
young ore---
  Of course my vet, stopped doing horses last July cause he said  couldn't 
make enough $ at  it .  (and another child on the way).He can make a lot 
more in the dog/cat business, and he already has a clinic  his vet wife  
runs. He did this before, but then went back in for 2 years....he likes 
horses. so I ma without  a vet that knows us.
   Anyhow,  there are 2 sort of oblong lumps on my geldings trachea, about 
halfway down from his throatlatch towards his chest, maybe  1"-1 1/4 by 
3/4-1" They feel like thay are connected to the trachea or muscles in the 
area, , fairly solid, but not 'hard". More to one side , then center of his 
throat  He is 12, hasn't had anything done there , except  a blood sample 
once or twice. Never been tubed  that I know of  or anything else there. No 
injuries that I know of. Has basic shots, full turnout, some grass in coming 
in, but sparse. Mostly hay diet. A bit of beet pulp and  Seminole balnacer , 
a few oats when necessary.
