The Florida Horseman's 100 had them in the 1980's still, as well as Lighter Knots & the Withlacoochee ride in Florida and the Graves Mountain rides in VA. They never stayed up on my shoulders. They were hot. I almost always drew a number with broken tie strings. I LOVE numbers on the hips. Now if we could just get permanent numbers & only have to touch them up from ride to ride...
