It could be a result of a too-rich diet... but the shininess is something I've only noticed *after* the founder occurred, not before. So I'm wondering if it's connected to the too-rich diet or to something else, therefore only indirectly to the diet. It's a minor point, and useless information, really - but I am curious about it.
