[RC] Porto-let thrills - rides2far

I was just using the platform of the double unit on
wheels as a mounting block. Someone had forgotten to lower the
stabilizing legs on the trailer

Year before last at the Million Pines ride I had just gone in a porto-let
that was one of two set side by side by a turn in the driveway. A woman
came in pulling a gooseneck, cut to sharp and hooked the other
porto-let...spun it around 180 degrees. She never stopped. Boy, was I
glad I'd chosen the one on the right! I took a photo of it but didn't
know what caption would convey the excitement of the moment. I did do a
cartoon of an incident at Biltmore when June Parsons was in one and
someone backing their trailer in started tipping it with their trailer
blocking the door shut. Gave her a thrill.
