RE: [RC] [RC] Ivermectin - Susan E. Garlinghouse, D.V.M.

BTW, Wormwood is a natural de-wormers that can be put into feed.

My limited experience with wormwood as a dewormer was in a young, beautiful
quarter horse colt that had been treated homeopathically by his owners,
right up to the day he colicked badly due to roundworms and was brought into
the hospital for emergency treatment. He was sent into surgery immediately,
but was euthanized as soon as he was opened up---his gut had ruptured from
the load of parasites filling it. We filled up two five gallon buckets with
worms scooped out of the abdomen before we gave up.

Guess I don't have much faith in wormwood as an effective anything.
