I've never had any issues with having horses or number of horses. It must really depend on the agent. My State Farm agent has 8 horses. I have also always had good service from State Farm. I think a lot depends on the individual agent.
I've had several claims - a few fairly large (a house burning to the ground generates a large claim) - and never had a minutes problem with them.
