My two cents worth:

This person is obviously only influenced/motivated by money (no thoughts/care 
of horse welfare, or morals).. as long as the "horse show world" has any 
financial gains, and this person is a participant, horses (as well as people) 
are in danger of getting between him and a dollar.  Second chance? Nah this is 
inexcusable...

Petition to stop possible AHSA/USEF reinstatement of a horse killer.

Paul Valliere, a prominent horse trainer who was suspended from the
AHSA/USEF for 10 years for his part in arranging the deaths of horses
for insurance money, is eligible to apply for reinstatement to
participate in recognized US horseshows this year.

In 1994 Paul Valliere admitted in federal court that he paid to have
his own horse electrocuted in order to collect $75,000 from his
horse's insurer.

I, and many others STRONGLY oppose this. If you do, or if you want
more information, there is a petition drive addressing the issue and
you can sign online. EVERYONE concerned with and about the equine
industry is invited to sign.

Please let the USEF know that Paul Valliere should not be reinstated
