[RC] the ring vs.trail/field?: SURFACE - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

You all are riders way beyond my ability here,but remember,the riding ring
surface is uniform.A trail is not,a field is less so,and a "meadow" can be
quite hazardous. I often think that one of the things that gets overlooked is
this "broken terrain" issue-places much trickier than a plain trial.(By the
way,a good Walker really shines when a field trial scout must travel quickly in
a potentially tricky place like a meadow,where there may be unseen things like
downed saplings,etc.)
