ROFL  for the last thirty five years i've owned ford trucks.  right now i 
own two, one has 227,000 miles and has been used for very heavy work. only 
repairs have been replacing brakes  the other is new with only 28,000 miles 
on it so far and almost every mile has been pulling horses.  did have to 
have an adjusment to the automatic gear shifting stick.
as to the ad...it just gave me a laugh it's so silly.  i think it would have 
been okay with everyone if they'd just thought to include the word SOME. 
some women do prefer diamonds to trucks.  some men would prefer diamonds to 
trucks, too.  the ad seems to be directed toward men who like the "girly 
girl".  those girls won't be offended by the ad. my stepson would be 
attracted by the ad, LOL, seems to me he likes the hoochie mamas (and <G> 
they "ain't" gonna want no truck!  my husband wouldn't be attracted at all!! 
he KNOWS trucks are for girls!
p.s. he had to be taught that.  the first christmas we were married he 
bought jewelry for me and couldn't believe i wanted to return it and 
purchase  fence wire, etc.  no diamond gene here.
