Re: [RC] Knee pain- new topic - Truman Prevatt

She may want to take a look of her stirrup length. In a 100, even small issus will become major issues. In a 100, lengthening your stirrups by as little as 1/4 of an inch can make a difference. Also check the stiffness of your leathers - even a little too much torque will show up in a 100. Things that don't show up in a 50 will show up in a 100.

Since there are many of us older than 30 doing this sport, a couple of us were wondering what everyone does to alleviate knee pain. A friend is doing her first 100 and she has knee pain at 40 miles. So...besides the usual nasaids, etc. what to you all do?
