Re: [RC] [RC] ? Bits - for those of you who love your horse, read. - Agilbxr

I bought a myler snaffle/hackamore combo with the rubber hackamore piece (not
the rawhide), and I love it. Mr. Fussy, who does NOT like bits, thank you very
much, works beautifully in it. He will snatch it out of my hand, does anything
I ask with it, and very rarely fights me any more about going faster. And if he
does request a faster speed, he does it without pulling me, he just kind of
hints that it's time to speed up now.

I would like to try just a myler snaffle for ring work, and see how that goes,
but for the trail, the hack kind of backs me up a bit when I'm insisting slower
is better. He eats just fine it too...

Juli and Alpine (love the myler bit!)
