[RC] National endurance champion - DreamWeaver

The way things work now, and why they work now, is because most riders don't try racing on multidays. I think that encouraging racing to win on one for a large group of riders would be extremely detrimental to multidays and to the sport in general.

Read how The Duck feels about the difference between the two sports (riding and racing) here:

http://www.xprides.com/RidingandRacing.html and http://www.xprides.com/LimitedDistance.html

Horses that aren't raced on multidays generally have longer careers (that applies to all rides, actually). I don't know many that can have it both ways, at least not every single time out. Those few that have, are perhaps the ones we should be recognizing, not the one or two season wonders.

It makes me cringe to think what might happen to the horses if we had a multiday 'race' that had the same type of qualifications we currently have for the NC ride.
