Ok folks very simple, the new models I sell Polar have a nice electrode
with open slots you can stitch this to the super core pad or Dixie pad or
any pad, what I do I just lay the electrode in there it does not go anywhere
, we are talking about the electrode under the pad

if you don't like electrodes under the pad since these new transmitters are
much stronger radio transmission than my earlier ones you can place both
electrodes on one side of the horse one at the girth and one strapped up
higher on the girth billets leathers about 8 inches from each other in line.
. You can experiment various places on you horse that will work also near
the saddle. I myself prefer the one at the girth and one under the saddle 3"
back off the right of the top line. For the earlier models hrm's. If you
don't want to stitch the electrode in place and want to remove it just sew
on a small piece of wool to any pad the early carbon rubber Velcro pads
will stay there. If you want you can sew that whole transmitter to any pad
or saddle

I don't even remove that electrode under the pad when I store my saddle it
stays there ( I also use a Velcro glued on the new polar pads -same effect)
ive had the same polar 710 for 4 years just last weekend needs a battery.
There is no hassle with the electrode systems and they work more constant
than the EZ rate horse belt system.

If you want to race and don't care a lot of about the reading always being
there like in varied terrain than use the ez rate belt best used for with or
without tack at the vet checks I call it my "Look no hands" model. Some
swear by this they get continuous reading such as Hal Hall, Dave Cootware,
Bruce Weary and others I think it all depends on wear you place the EZ rate
wireless belt system and and the horse . This works so well! it is proof if
the vet does a false CRI reading, your right there with the accurate
reading on display to say I don't think so.

Race tracks used to have the electrodes stuck on to the horses neck,
worked fine for about 1/4 mile, then Bob Walz came out with a idea of a
carbon rubber electrode with velcro, and the Ez rate horse belt then later
Emerged the polar larger electrode for more conductivity Steven A. Elliott
