Re: [RC] re: Why is diesel so expensive - Barbara McCrary

Now that we're getting into horse transportation, many years ago I drove a horse and buggy to our daughters' school, 5 miles each way, to pick them up.  I had to cross a state highway to do it, but otherwise I used county and back roads.  Too much traffic to do that now; we don't have a driving horse now, either.  I did this only twice, but it surely was fun!

I actually know two people who can do that.....Isn't that cool?”

I ride my horse everyday to pick up my mail at my mailbox 1 mile roundtrip.

Also rode my horse to my high school bareback to pickup my cap & gown,  6 mi roundtrip. Does that count? <SMILE>

I ride my daughters pony/horse bareback to pick her up from Jr. High. Guess who gets kicked off of Zebby and gets to walk home on her own two legs? Not my daughter.  Good exercise though. Beccy
