[RC] Ponying thanks - Mary Orosz

Thanks to everyone who gave me suggestions for ponying(Star) without stopping for poops.  We went yesterday (I ended up using a Dually halter)  and everything went great….until we ran into 2 different flocks of turkeys.  Jack, the horse I was riding, decided he didn’t want anything to do with them.  Since we were riding on a road, going down a hill, I gave up after the second flock appeared.  Doing donuts in the middle of a road, while ponying another horse and having cars come is not fun.  We gave up and went back up the hill, turned down another, little traveled road.  I unhooked my other horse and we headed home the back way.  We did have a great time going back with Star galloping, bucking and loving it all.  Today I am taking Jack on the same route alone to prove to him that he won’t get eaten.  It’s going to be 50 today!!!
