[RC] flax seed - Jonni

For those who are already using it, do you soak it with beet pulp? I
can't see going thru everthing that web-site says must be done.<<<

I put the horses "ration" (or few handfuls of grain that some get) in the
buckets. I go into my tackroom, where I have the small coffee grinder
plugged in. I have some Flax Seed in a large size container for juice and
such, that has a flip spout. I pour the seeds into the grinder, grind, and
dump in the bucket. Then, go to the next bucket. The horses are getting
about 1/2 to 1 cup of ground flax. If I am too lazy to grind, I dump about 2
cups in the bucket. They love this stuff. Kind of a nutty smell to it. They
would eat it without grain. I don't soak it, unless I am doing a mash
anyway.
