[RC] buying Flax - Jonni

One of our feed stores carry it here in TX. I picked a store that was near a
lot of breeding operations, and sure enough, they have it. Just start
calling the feed stores. Seems the price is about the same here, as what
Mike pays in CA. About $20-25 for a 50# bag. I too, bought a small coffee
grinder at Wal-Mart, and just grind the servings as I am ready to dump it in
their bucket. (lucky for me, I have power in my barn) You do not have to
grind it (per Dr. Garlinghouse), but you might need to feed more, if you do
not grind. I think a lot of the horse show types have started feeding it, so
feed stores are catching on.
