Re: [RC] [RC] QH -- Charge Cindy - Laurie Durgin

I have a 3 yr. old Apendix QH--great grandson of Austrailaian Race horse of the year-- "Noholme"(II)?)-- TB-out of racing Qh stock-and 1/2 Arabian, unknown reg. name, but I saw him and I think he may have been egyptian by the looks.> Scout was raised here and is very 'stoic' , you can flap things around him, very curious , he willl be the first to investigate things, I have only seen him shy at stuff a few times--compared with the regularity of my arab mare---and even my gelding---For a young horse with arab and tb blood he is very quiet--at home at least---I see some "fire" in him, but things that make the arabs take some distance, he may totally ignore--I'd say he's more curious than afraid of things.

My Starman is supposedly a QH-Arab cross, although I really don't know for sure. He's the hottest, most reactive horse I've ever had. He's a blast to ride and a really good boy who knows his job well, but he's far hotter than any of the purebreds or Anglos I've raised.

Anyone else with this experience with Quarabs?

I'll bet a Quarab - Arabian/appendix QH with good Thoroughbred
bloodlines and QH sensibility would be a great endurance horse.
