Yup, the weather here in Western Montana has been GREAT!  I've been out the last 4 weekend in a row.  I have spent most of my time getting to know the mare I bought last November.  She is coming along well.  I have no plans to compete on her this season.  There is a fun ride in May that I might consider riding her on though.  I found out a gal I work with loves to ride but is currently horseless.  So I invited her to ride my seasoned mare this past weekend.  WOW I felt like I had the best of all worlds.  I had someone to ride with, I was able to ride my new horse, and was able to get my other mare on the trail too.  Now that's what I call effeciency.  ;-)

 

On another sad note, I was so hoping to have the barefoot discussion over by this morning.  <sigh> Can we please move on.
