***Truman and others who use canter as more efficient gait-- Do you, and if
so, how and how often do you, encourage/coerce your horse to change leads?
One of the horses I ride w/ energy/(canter<trot) really only likes to pick
up L lead when allowed to choose his own gait and this would seem to
generate problems of its own in terms of asymmetric development and fatigue,
yes?

Thanks.
