[RC] Weight Divisions - Ridecamp Guest

==========================================

You can't do much about the occasional riders (who often don't
know enough to play weight division games anyway), but here in
the Midwest, if you're going for year-end awards, you'd better
ride in the same division all year, or you're unlikely to rack
up enough points to top ten. So that mostly takes care of
anyone who thinks about being an opportunistic switcher.

IN RESPONSE TO:
I believe that the weight divisions should be in accordance with the riders
weight alone, not with tack. I was at a ride where the rider didn't know if he
should ride middleweight or heavyweight. He asked the ride manager how many
and who were in the classes. She told him and he decided on heavyweight. I
know what some of you are going to say, that it shouldn't have happened, but it
does.
